Aftercare for Botulinum Toxin A- Wrinkle Treatment

Make up and concealer round the injection area should be avoided for 12 hours. This is to further reduce the small risk of infection.

Try to limit stress, smoking and sun (this includes sun beds). These things are major contributions to premature skin ageing,
Avoid excess exercise for 24 hours.
Avoid alcohol for 24 hours.
Avoid flying for 48 hours following your procedure.
Avoid lying down for 4 hours post treatment,
Remember not all your Botox will take effect at the same time, please remember, it can take up to 14 days and will be reviewed at your review appointment- make sure this is no later than 3 weeks.
Bruising is rare, but possible, please wait 12 hours before applying make up.
Headaches can occur after Botox treatments, this will only usually happen on the night of the treatment. Please take usual painkillers as you would with any headache.
Avoid Microblading or brow treatments for 2 weeks, as Botox can influence the shape of your brows.
If you feel dizzy or generally unwell after treatment, speak to your Practitioner or seek medical advice, remember this is a medicine so side effects can occur.
